Business Development / Account Manager – Trustworthy AI Solutions

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Business Development / Account Managers to drive growth and market expansion for our Trustworthy AI solutions. These roles will focus on building strategic relationships, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within the European and US markets, respectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, specifically within sectors requiring trustworthy AI such as healthcare, finance, government, and technology.

  • Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their AI transparency and compliance needs.

  • Articulate the value proposition of our Trustworthy AI solutions, demonstrating deep product and market knowledge.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, technical support, and marketing, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, providing regular reporting on pipeline management, sales forecasts, and account activities.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degrees or certifications in AI, technology, or related fields preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in technology or AI industries.

  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, particularly trustworthy, ethical, and verifiable AI frameworks.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage sales pipelines, forecast accurately, and achieve targets.

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed environment, with the ability to operate independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Must understand AI/ML concepts, data governance, compliance frameworks, and emerging AI regulations such as the EU AI Act.

  • Capable of engaging in credible technical discussions without needing to be an engineer.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages desirable for the Europe-based role.

  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)

  • AI/ML-related certifications (e.g., IBM AI Certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP)

  • Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP)

  • Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP)

  • Challenger Sales Certification

  • Strategic Selling with Perspective – Miller Heiman

  • Sandler Sales Certification
